Privacy Policy

Treeova Technologies, Inc. ("Treeova," "we," "us") operates Treeova Community at community.treeova.app. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use Community. It works alongside the Treeova Privacy Policy, which covers the main Treeova trading platform. Questions: support@treeova.com.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: email, display name, handle, and sign-in credentials. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
• Linked Treeova account: if you continue with Treeova, we store your Treeova account ID to confirm your membership.
• Profile: avatar, banner, bio, name style and links you choose to add. Images are stored privately.
• Content: room messages, replies, reactions, reports, and rooms you create. Private messages (DMs) are end-to-end encrypted — we store only scrambled text we cannot read.
• Usage and device data: IP address, browser, timestamps and feature usage, used for security, abuse prevention and improving the service.
• Games: Chart Rider and Candle Memory scores and leaderboard entries.
• Payments: the $10/month membership is billed on treeova.com, and paid room access through Whop. Community does not store card details.

2. How we use it

• Run rooms, chat, voice, friends and DMs.
• Confirm memberships and paid room access.
• Keep the community safe: word filters, spam limits, reports, blocks and moderator review.
• Generate optional AI headline summaries you request (headlines only — never your messages).
• Respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.

3. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers that host, store, or deliver the service (cloud hosting, voice, market data and AI summary providers) under confidentiality obligations.
• Payment partners (Treeova billing, Whop) to confirm access you purchased.
• Other members — anything you post in a room is visible to people who can view that room.
• Legal requirements such as a valid subpoena, or to prevent fraud or harm.
• Business transfers in a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.

4. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit. Room messages are encrypted again before they are stored, and DMs are end-to-end encrypted so only you and the other person can read them. Access to data is enforced at the database level. See Security & Moderation for details and examples. No system is 100% secure; report concerns to support@treeova.com.

5. Retention and deletion

• Room messages are automatically deleted after 2 years.
• Deleting your account permanently removes your messages, DMs, reactions and profile.
• Moderation records may be kept as long as needed to keep the community safe or meet legal duties.

6. Your choices and rights

• Edit your profile and delete your account any time in Settings.
• Block members and leave rooms whenever you like.
• California and other state residents may request access to or deletion of their data at support@treeova.com.

7. Children

Treeova Community is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. U.S. service

Treeova is offered to U.S. residents and complies with applicable U.S. federal and state law, including the CCPA.

9. Third-party links

News articles, room widgets and member links may lead to other sites. Their privacy practices are their own.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use means you accept the changes.
